About the Role
You will architect and maintain integrated three-statement and unit-economics models, lead long-range planning, evaluate scenarios and valuations, forecast cash flow, and develop investor-grade analyses. You will partner with senior leaders to translate operational plans into financial strategy and decision-ready insights.
Requirements
- 8–10 years of experience, including investment banking, private equity, hedge fund, or equity research experience
- Strategic finance leadership experience in a publicly traded company
- Aerospace and defense industry exposure
- Experience owning scalable three-statement models, long-range plans, valuations, sensitivities, and unit economics
- Exceptional Excel modeling capability and driver-based forecasting skills
- GAAP proficiency and knowledge of financial statement mechanics
- Ability to communicate complex financial and technical information to executives, Board members, and investors
- Experience partnering with data and systems teams
Responsibilities
- Architect and maintain integrated three-statement financial models
- Lead long-range planning, scenario modeling, sensitivities, and valuation frameworks
- Translate operational drivers into financial outcomes
- Deliver investor-grade valuations, strategic insights, and Board-ready narratives
- Scale modeling infrastructure through cloud planning tools, automation, and analytics
- Benchmark peers and develop competitor, KPI, and market analyses
- Support M&A modeling, valuation, synergy analysis, and diligence
- Build rolling cash flow forecasts
- Identify liquidity risks and support capital allocation and financing strategies
- Connect short-term forecasting with the long-range plan
