About the Role
You will identify and evaluate acquisition, investment, and partnership opportunities. You will build valuation and merger models, conduct market research, coordinate due diligence, support negotiations, and prepare recommendations for senior leadership. You will maintain deal pipelines, assess strategic needs with business leaders, and represent the function at industry events.
Requirements
- 1–3+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, or transaction advisory services
- Direct M&A transaction experience, including scenario structuring, modeling, and transaction screening memorandums
- Financial modeling and valuation skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related quantitative field
Responsibilities
- Identify acquisition targets and maintain market maps
- Support M&A transactions from target identification through closing
- Build valuation, merger, accretion/dilution, and precedent transaction models
- Coordinate cross-functional due diligence and develop risk-mitigation strategies
- Conduct industry and competitive analysis
- Prepare transaction recommendations for executive leadership and the Board of Directors
- Evaluate strategic investment and partnership opportunities
- Assist with structuring and negotiating joint ventures, alliances, and minority investments
- Create investment memorandums and presentations
- Maintain M&A and investment pipelines
- Prepare reports on market trends, portfolio performance, and deal progress
