About the Role

You will provide technical and strategic leadership for RippleX's blockchain software, ensuring it remains scalable and reliable. You will develop and deliver roadmaps that drive technical and operational excellence, and mentor team members to support their professional and technical growth while offering hands-on leadership. You will establish engineering standard processes and collaborate with partners across Ripple and the wider XRPL community. You will implement agile processes to support innovation and incremental objectives, and translate technical concepts for a range of audiences including engineers, business leaders and technical leaders. You will scale the team by attracting and mentoring leaders and engineers at varying experience levels, and work closely with Ripple's recruiting team to bring on outstanding engineers.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of software development leadership experience, leading strong engineering teams
  • Both a people leader and a technical leader
  • Proficient in building highly scalable and reliable distributed systems in C++
  • Experienced in developing open-source software and contributing to collaborative blockchain communities
  • Collaborative approach with eagerness to share knowledge and work openly with diverse teams
  • Technical domain expert providing leadership and expertise to growing engineering teams
