About the Role
You will be a visionary hands-on leader for the Platform team, owning the complex, highly-distributed systems required to deliver Dynamic's vision at massive scale. You'll define the long-term technical roadmap, architecture, and standards for the Platform team while staying deeply hands-on, contributing to critical design reviews, setting coding standards, and writing and shipping code. You'll oversee the design and implementation of highly complex distributed systems capable of handling massive transactional volume and user growth. You'll lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering organization, working closely with customers to understand their technical needs and ensure the platform meets their integration and performance requirements. You'll also drive the adoption of modern engineering practices, including leveraging the latest AI models and technology to enhance platform efficiency, security, and feature development.
Requirements
- 5+ years of engineering management experience, leading multiple teams and delivering complex initiatives on schedule
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in backend development, architecting and operating large-scale, complex, highly-secure distributed systems
- Experience architecting or building platforms requiring deep security and attack-vector thinking (finance, payments, crypto, or authentication)
- Deep expertise in Crypto/Web, Financial Services, or High-Security/Authentication Platforms
- Demonstrated experience scaling platforms to support millions of users and high throughput transaction volumes
- Proven ability to attract, hire, and develop top-tier engineering talent, including senior and principal-level engineers
- Strong technical foundation with ability to influence architecture, familiarity with modern development paradigms and cloud technologies
- Proficiency in TypeScript and AWS infrastructure (experience with TEE a big plus)
