About the Role
You will own the roadmap, implementation, and administration of PLM and MES systems. You will govern BOM structures and configurations, integrate CAD, PLM, ERP, and MES data, manage product releases, define manufacturing processes, lead engineering changes, and audit product data.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Systems, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
- 7+ years of configuration, PLM, and MES management, administration, or implementation experience
- Experience leading cross-functional PLM projects
- Knowledge of PLM architectures, MES systems, and ERP, CAD, and quality-system integration
- Understanding of engineering, manufacturing, supply-chain, and service processes
- Ability to influence senior leadership and management
- Experience mentoring, training, or enabling teams in system adoption
- English fluency
Responsibilities
- Define and govern multi-level BOM structures
- Manage product configurations, variants, and component reuse
- Enforce part numbering, revision control, and BOM rules
- Own the PLM roadmap, implementation, and administration
- Manage the CAD-to-PLM-to-ERP-to-MES digital thread
- Oversee product-release workflows and configuration baselines
- Ensure product structures transfer correctly from PLM to MES
- Define production routings, assembly sequences, and digital work instructions
- Maintain as-built traceability between MES and ERP
- Lead ECR and ECO processes
- Improve workflows, product introduction cycle times, and manufacturing scalability
- Conduct product-data audits and corrective actions
