About the Role
You will lead supply planning, material readiness, production planning, and logistics execution for aircraft development programs and a new manufacturing facility. You will establish planning processes, inventory controls, warehouse flows, recovery plans, and performance metrics. You will partner with engineering, procurement, manufacturing, quality, and program management to protect schedules and support the transition to rate production.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, engineering, business, or a related field
- 7 or more years of materials planning, inventory management, or supply-chain operations experience
- Experience supporting complex hardware development programs
- Experience implementing or scaling material-planning and inventory-management processes
- Understanding of MRP or ERP systems and supply-chain planning methodologies
- Experience managing material readiness for new product introduction and engineering development programs
- Analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain or maintain a security clearance
Responsibilities
- Own materials planning, production control, inventory, warehousing, and logistics strategy
- Develop and maintain build plans aligned with program milestones
- Define and monitor planning and material-readiness performance indicators
- Identify long-lead material risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Oversee material recovery plans and engineering-change management
- Develop planning models for prototyping, design iteration, and low-rate production
- Lead planning and logistics readiness for a new manufacturing facility
- Design warehouse, stockroom, inventory-control, and material-flow processes
- Establish standard work and training programs
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to solve operational challenges
