About the Role
You will lead enterprise identity, authentication, authorization, and access-governance systems. You will define IAM strategy and architecture, manage engineering and operations teams, establish identity lifecycle and governance practices, modernize legacy systems, and partner across functions to deliver secure, scalable identity services.
Requirements
- 8–12+ years of experience in security, identity engineering, or related technical fields
- Expertise in IAM technologies, directories, authentication protocols, and identity standards
- Architecture or engineering experience in AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Experience implementing Zero Trust identity models and privileged access management frameworks
- Understanding of identity governance, compliance requirements, and audit processes
- Experience leading high-performing teams and complex cross-functional programs
- Communication, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills
Responsibilities
- Define the long-term IAM strategy, roadmap, and operating model
- Build scalable identity foundations for global growth and cloud expansion
- Establish practices for identity lifecycle management, authentication, authorization, provisioning, and governance
- Manage and grow IAM engineering and operations teams
- Mentor technical leads and engineers
- Lead the design and implementation of SSO, MFA, federated identity, RBAC, ABAC, PAM, directory services, and just-in-time access
- Modernize legacy systems using Zero Trust identity principles
- Own identity governance programs, access reviews, audit readiness, and policy enforcement
- Partner with compliance, risk, legal, IT, security, cloud infrastructure, engineering, and product stakeholders
