About the Role

You will own cluster deployment from rack delivery through production acceptance. You will lead deployment engineering, improve bring-up speed through tooling and pre-staging, validate cabling and links, manage defect feedback loops, standardize deployment equipment, and define cluster validation and acceptance gates.

Requirements

• 10+ years of network deployment, cluster or HPC bring-up, or large-scale infrastructure delivery experience
• Experience managing engineers in a field or deployment setting
• Hands-on fabric bring-up experience at scale
• Experience building and enforcing playbooks, gates, metrics, and defect loops
• Team leadership with schedule accountability across multiple concurrent builds or sites

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the cluster deployment playbook
• Drive staged bring-up, configuration deployment, link validation, cabling verification, and fault triage
• Lead deployment engineering across concurrent cluster builds
• Coordinate with field teams and cabling vendors
• Improve deployment velocity through tooling, pre-staging, and defect-source elimination
• Own defect feedback loops with network engineering, cabling teams, and vendors
• Define and standardize spares, test equipment, and deployment tooling across sites
• Own cluster validation, burn-in criteria, and production acceptance gates
