About the Role

You will lead revenue recognition, close, reporting, reconciliations, and audit support for cloud marketplace revenue. You will assess accounting treatments, manage controls, resolve partner-data issues, and automate manual close processes with engineering and finance stakeholders.

Requirements

• Strong ASC 606 knowledge
• Experience owning a month-end close and reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analysis
• Experience building revenue reporting from large third-party datasets and reconciling it to the general ledger
• Experience managing external partner relationships
• Strong SQL skills and experience automating close workbooks or reconciliations
• Experience designing or operating SOX controls and supporting external audits

Responsibilities

• Lead the cloud service provider marketplace revenue close
• Prepare and review revenue journal entries, accruals, true-ups, and accounting memos
• Own balance-sheet reconciliations, reserves, and the usage-to-invoice-to-cash bridge
• Perform flux analysis and prepare leadership reporting
• Manage quarter-end disclosures and presentations
• Serve as the primary contact for external auditors
• Review partner usage, invoice, disbursement, and fraud reports
• Apply ASC 606 and assess new third-party products and billing changes
• Automate close processes and reconciliations with engineering
• Own 3P SOX controls and audit evidence
• Partner on forecasts, cash, and partner disputes
