About the Role

You will draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial and technology agreements. You will lead legal matters, advise on intellectual property and project contracts, assess legal risks, support group companies, and provide pragmatic legal guidance to internal stakeholders.

Requirements

Fully qualified German lawyer (Volljurist) with strong academic credentials
At least five years of post-qualification experience
Majority of experience gained at a leading international law firm
Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements
Experience independently leading negotiations
Commercial intellectual property law experience
Fluency in German and English
Ability to negotiate sophisticated commercial agreements in German and English

Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and technology agreements
Lead commercial legal matters from instruction through negotiation and execution
Advise on intellectual property ownership, licensing, know-how, and trade secrets
Support cross-functional teams on project-related contracts
Handle supplier, procurement, and strategic sourcing agreements
Prepare, review, and negotiate NDAs and confidentiality documentation
Identify legal and commercial risks and develop pragmatic solutions
Provide legal support to group companies and acquired businesses
Support legal-team members on cross-functional matters
