About the Role
You will build durable Marketplace platform services, prototype new products with real customers, improve launched products, and develop AI- and LLM-integrated workflows. You will contribute to system design, participate in customer discovery, synthesize findings, and mentor newer engineers while owning well-scoped technical work.
Requirements
- Typically 4–7 years of experience in software engineering
- Solid backend and distributed-systems fundamentals
- Experience shipping a technical MVP or prototype to a customer-testable state
- Experience building with or integrating LLM providers or document-extraction tooling
- Exposure to agent harnesses or RAG pipelines is a plus
- Data engineering, ML, or document-processing background is a plus
- Comfort working across the stack
- Experience in financial services, construction, real estate, payments, lending, or insurance is a differentiator
Responsibilities
- Design and build reusable Marketplace services
- Build prototypes and MVPs for new Marketplace products
- Work directly with customers to validate ideas
- Improve workflows and adoption for launched products
- Build and refine agent harnesses and AI-integrated workflows
- Extract and reason over unstructured documents
- Use evaluation tooling to test and improve systems
- Participate in customer discovery conversations
- Partner with staff engineers on system design
- Mentor newer engineers
- Identify and fix workflow friction
