About the Role

Assess and reduce workplace risks, develop and implement HSE processes, monitor federal and state compliance, report HSE metrics, investigate incidents, lead root cause analysis, support audits, coordinate training, communicate safety practices, and maintain HSE documentation for the manufacturing facility.

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • University degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Technical knowledge of federal and state HSE rules and regulations
  • Hands-on implementation experience with HSE rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
  • Legal ability to work and reside in the United States without sponsorship
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • CSP, ASP, or OHST certification is a bonus
  • Experience supporting HSE programs in an ISO-certified manufacturing environment is a bonus

Responsibilities

  • Assess worker risks across worksites
  • Develop recommendations to reduce risk
  • Develop and implement HSE processes, procedures, work instructions, and checklists
  • Monitor compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Monitor and report HSE objectives and metrics
  • Investigate incidents and lead root cause analysis
  • Track corrective actions and reports
  • Plan and assist with compliance audits and self-assessments
  • Liaise with external agencies on HSE issues
  • Coordinate HSE training
  • Maintain HSE documentation
