About the Role
You will own robot wiring systems from prototype through high-volume production. You will establish manufacturing standards, improve supplier and contract-manufacturer performance, investigate defects, and improve the manufacturability and serviceability of harness assemblies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
- Experience developing and scaling manufacturing processes for wiring harnesses or electromechanical assemblies
- Hands-on experience with crimping tools, soldering, continuity testing, hi-pot testing, and assembly process validation
- Experience creating and releasing production documentation through ECO and change-control processes
- Experience working with contract manufacturers or production teams to scale builds and resolve manufacturing issues
Responsibilities
- Establish manufacturing standards, documentation, and process controls for repeatable harness production
- Ensure harness assemblies meet quality, reliability, routing, and termination requirements
- Drive supplier and contract manufacturer improvements to increase yield and reduce cost
- Lead root-cause investigations and corrective actions for harness-related defects
- Improve harness manufacturability and serviceability while supporting production-line operations
