About the Role

You will build and maintain backend services and APIs for a cash forecasting platform while contributing to frontend work when needed. You will design data schemas, improve query performance, write tests, deploy services, automate operational tasks, strengthen observability, optimize performance, and collaborate on robust technical solutions.

Requirements

4-8 years of professional software development experience
Strong SQL fundamentals
Hands-on PostgreSQL experience preferred
Ability to work safely in large existing codebases
Scripting ability
Experience with Docker or containerization technologies
Proven Git proficiency
Proficiency in Ruby Python or Java
Experience using AI tools throughout software development
RSpec testing experience
Ruby or Ruby on Rails experience preferred
React experience preferred
AWS knowledge preferred
Multi-tenant enterprise SaaS experience preferred
Observability experience preferred
Performance benchmarking and profiling experience preferred
Financial industry experience preferred

Responsibilities

Build and maintain backend services and APIs
