About the Role
You will design, implement, deploy, debug, document, and release embedded Linux server components. You will build REST APIs and WebRTC communication services, integrate ROS 2 middleware, maintain browser-client API layers, and ensure reliable, secure, high-performing operation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of professional backend development experience
- Python proficiency
- Working knowledge of C++ in a systems or robotics context
- REST API and WebRTC experience
- ROS 2 and pub/sub, services, and actions experience
- Embedded Linux backend deployment and operation experience
- API design, versioning, and documentation knowledge
- Application- and network-level debugging and fault-analysis skills
Responsibilities
- Design and implement REST APIs and a WebRTC-based communication server on embedded Linux robot hardware
- Expose and maintain API layers for browser-based desktop and mobile clients
- Integrate backend services with ROS 2 communication middleware
- Own server architecture, deployment, debugging, documentation, and releases
- Ensure API reliability, performance, and security within embedded Linux constraints
- Collaborate on interface contracts and integrations
- Develop proof-of-concept and production-grade server components
