About the Role
You will assess merchant business models and financial health and provide credit-risk advice. You will improve risk-management policies, tools, and processes; lead projects; collaborate with commercial, product, legal, and compliance stakeholders; and communicate the credit-risk approach to merchants and regulators.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a financial risk environment
- Interest in business and financial markets
- Excellent communication skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to define efficient processes and procedures
- Project leadership experience
- Interest in payments or fintech
- Strong data and analytical skills
- University degree preferred in business economics, statistics, finance, or another quantitative field
Responsibilities
- Assess merchant business models and financial health
- Provide credit-risk advice to the credit risk committee
- Improve risk-management policies, tools, and processes
- Lead projects and develop solutions for merchants
- Share credit-risk expertise with Product, Legal, and Compliance teams
- Communicate the credit-risk approach to merchants, commercial teams, and regulators
