About the Role

Support OKX Malta's financial operations across accounting, tax, internal controls, cost management, accounts payable, regulatory reporting, financial statements, audits, month-end close, and process improvement.

Requirements

• ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or CPA qualification.
• BS or BA in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in financial services, payments, fintech, or crypto industries.
• Working knowledge of IFRS.
• Familiarity with Malta Tax Authority reporting requirements.
• Familiarity with MFSA rules and regulations or willingness to learn.
• Exposure to budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, modeling, and performance reporting.
• Understanding of cost management frameworks and accounts payable processes.
• Experience supporting multi-stakeholder projects.
• Strong judgment, communication, independence, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support accounting, tax, internal controls, cost management, accounts payable, management reporting, and regulatory reporting.
• Prepare financial statements for audits, regulatory inquiries, and management reporting.
• Support month-end closing and group consolidation.
• Support accounts payable and operating expense management.
• Support local financial statement audits.
• Maintain internal controls.
• Develop efficient and automated financial reporting processes.
• Support Malta and EU regulatory reporting, VAT, and corporate tax matters.
