About the Role
You will engineer and support Microsoft and Azure workplace platforms across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments. You will lead technical projects and incident investigations, automate operational services, maintain platform roadmaps, and mentor engineers.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in a senior Microsoft infrastructure, platform, or cloud engineering role
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft 365 services
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, and hybrid identity
- Advanced Windows Server administration knowledge
- Experience with Exchange Online and hybrid Exchange environments
- Experience designing and supporting enterprise Azure services
- Knowledge of Conditional Access, MFA, Microsoft Defender, and Zero Trust
- Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation capability
- Experience with Intune and Windows Autopilot
- Experience delivering complex technical projects and migrations
- Technical documentation and stakeholder communication skills
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering, design, implementation, and operational support for Microsoft platforms
- Own the technical roadmap and lifecycle management of workplace technologies
- Design and support Azure infrastructure services
- Lead Azure Virtual Desktop design, deployment, and operations
- Engineer identity and access management solutions
- Modernise Microsoft infrastructure services
- Develop automation and self-service capabilities
- Lead critical incident investigations and root cause analysis
- Maintain monitoring, recovery processes, and service documentation
- Partner on compliance, regulatory, and security requirements
- Act as a senior technical escalation point
- Mentor engineers and promote best practices
- Evaluate emerging Microsoft technologies
