About the Role
You will design and deliver reusable reliable low-latency Java code for an exchange. You will improve code quality and automation, profile and resolve order-processing bottlenecks, strengthen unit integration and performance testing, and collaborate with engineers and product and project managers.
Requirements
- Strong fluency in Java 17 or later with performance-tuning experience
- Experience designing and building high-throughput low-latency systems
- Hands-on experience with agentic AI development LLM integration prompt engineering and SDLC automation
- Understanding of Chronicle Queue RabbitMQ Aeron Kafka and other middleware and messaging technologies
- Working knowledge of Spring or Micronaut Docker and Kubernetes
- Deep knowledge of testing methodologies SDLC practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience owning components supporting an exchange
- Experience with order matching and orderbook generation preferred
- Familiarity with options futures FIX protocol and related workflows preferred
- Understanding of blockchain technologies preferred
