About the Role
Design and maintain infrastructure as code, automate deployment and scaling of services, build CI/CD pipelines, implement automated testing, establish monitoring and alerting, respond to on-call incidents, enforce security and compliance, optimize system performance, and document infrastructure and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer in a blockchain or crypto environment.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with blockchain technologies such as Ethereum and Cosmos.
- Experience with AWS, EKS, EC2, RDS, IAM, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Strong Linux operating system and networking fundamentals.
- Experience building monitoring systems using tools such as ELK, Pingdom, Opsgenie, PagerDuty, Kiali, Weave Scope, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail.
- Hands-on experience with microservices-based SaaS products, REST web services, SSO solutions, MySQL, and Elasticsearch.
- Experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Knowledge of Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- AWS Solutions Architect certification strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes on GCP and AWS.
- Automate deployment, scaling, and management of blockchain nodes and related services.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated testing for backend and blockchain applications.
- Establish monitoring solutions and application-level alerting.
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents promptly.
- Implement security best practices and support security audits.
- Analyze system performance and recommend capacity planning and optimizations.
- Create and maintain documentation for infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.
