About the Role
You will design and develop complex electro-mechanical mechanisms for autonomous aircraft. You will own designs from concept through CAD, tolerance analysis, material selection, drawing release, prototyping, testing, and production support. You will perform structural and kinematic analysis, collaborate with engineering partners, and support ground and flight testing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
- 5+ years of mechanical or mechanism design experience
- CAD

Responsibilities
- Design complex electro-mechanical mechanisms for autonomous aircraft
- Own the design process from concept through drawing release
- Perform structural and kinematic calculations and preliminary FEA
- Prototype, test, and iterate mechanism designs
- Collaborate with electrical, avionics, flight controls, and propulsion teams
- Support pre-production builds, prototype integration, and ground and flight testing
