About the Role
You will build and operate infrastructure across heterogeneous GPU clusters and datacenters. You will design provisioning scheduling isolation monitoring and management systems for bare-metal containerized and virtualized environments. You will write Rust and Python infrastructure software operate Kubernetes and Slurm and debug failures across Linux networking storage virtualization GPUs and distributed systems.
Requirements
- Strong Linux systems knowledge
- Strong Rust knowledge and production systems software experience
- Working knowledge of SQL and data-intensive backend systems
- Experience operating containerized and virtualized workloads in production
- Deep familiarity with Kubernetes or Slurm
- Understanding of hypervisors KVM QEMU virtio device passthrough and workload isolation
- Strong understanding of distributed systems failure handling coordination state management idempotency consistency and observability
- Ability to debug across application kernel network scheduler hypervisor and physical server layers
- Ability to operate independently and own systems from design through production
- BS MS or equivalent experience in a relevant technical field
- Experience with datacenter infrastructure or large GPU and HPC clusters
- Knowledge of CUDA GPU memory kernels PCIe NVLink RDMA GPUDirect and multi-GPU communication
- Experience with high-performance networking or distributed storage
Responsibilities
- Build and operate infrastructure across GPU clusters and datacenters
- Design systems for provisioning scheduling isolation monitoring and compute management
- Build infrastructure software in Rust and Python
- Operate and extend Kubernetes and Slurm environments
- Design secure multi-tenant compute environments
- Debug failures across Linux networking storage schedulers virtualization GPUs and distributed systems
- Collect and query infrastructure state telemetry inventory health and utilization data
- Automate infrastructure deployment and lifecycle management
- Design systems that recover automatically and expose failure information
