About the Role
You will deploy, configure, and validate high-performance Ethernet and InfiniBand fabrics for large GPU clusters. You will bring up front-end, storage, management, and WAN-edge networks; test performance; resolve build issues; automate provisioning and validation; coordinate site delivery; and document repeatable build procedures.
Requirements
- 5+ years of network engineering experience in large-scale data centre, cloud, or HPC environments
- Experience at a hyperscaler, major network vendor, or comparable large-scale network
- Knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EVPN/VXLAN, ECMP, and L2/L3 data centre design
- Experience deploying and operating cluster networks
- Experience with InfiniBand or RoCE fabrics
- Experience with network automation using Python, Ansible, or similar tools
- Willingness to travel across Europe
Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and validate high-performance Ethernet and InfiniBand fabrics for GPU clusters
- Bring up front-end, storage, management, and WAN-edge connectivity
- Run network acceptance testing and performance validation before customer handover
- Troubleshoot routing, switching, optics, and cabling issues during builds
- Refine reference designs, BOMs, and build standards
- Build automation for provisioning, configuration, and validation
- Coordinate with program managers, data centre operations, and vendors to keep builds on schedule
- Write runbooks and documentation for repeatable site builds
