About the Role
You will design, build, release, and maintain biology software, pipelines, datasets, and benchmarks for genomics and structural biology. You will validate and package releases, maintain public repositories, work with researchers and maintainers, turn research code into reusable software, lead technical direction, and rigorously review AI-generated code.

Responsibilities

- Own testing, validation, benchmarking, documentation, packaging, and release decisions
- Maintain released software, triage issues, review contributions, and manage breaking changes
- Represent the work through conferences, workshops, tutorials, and researcher collaboration
- Turn research code into well-tested reusable software with computational and experimental scientists
- Lead technical direction through design review, code review, and mentoring
- Build with AI coding agents and validate agent-written code
