About the Role
You will build and maintain automated test frameworks, scalable test infrastructure, and GitLab CI/CD pipelines. You will create Python automation tools, API and UI tests, validation tooling, test harnesses, simulators, stubs, and mocks. You will analyze failures, improve coverage and observability, document systems, and develop AI-assisted testing workflows.
Requirements
- 5+ years building scalable automation frameworks or developer tooling in Python
- 5+ years with package management, dependency management, and build systems
- 5+ years building tooling for automated log collection, analytics, reporting, and failure triage
- Understanding of asynchronous and concurrent Python programming
- Experience with GitLab CI, YAML, and shell scripting
- Experience testing distributed systems, backend services, APIs, and web-based UIs
- Experience with Linux-based development environments

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks
- Develop scalable automated test infrastructure
- Create and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines
- Build Python workflow automation tools and utilities
- Develop UI and API test automation using Go and TypeScript
- Develop automated validation solutions for mission-critical software
- Create test harnesses, simulators, stubs, and mocks
- Analyze test results and troubleshoot failures
- Improve test coverage, execution speed, maintainability, and observability
- Maintain technical documentation for test frameworks and CI/CD infrastructure
- Support release qualification and requirements traceability
- Develop AI-assisted engineering workflows and intelligent automation pipelines
