About the Role
You will contribute to aircraft motor-drive, power-electronics, and controls design. You will develop high-voltage circuits, integrate systems with motors and controls, conduct verification and dyno testing, investigate failures, and develop automated production-test solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 2 or more years of Electrical Engineer experience
- Experience with circuit design, schematic capture, component selection, circuit testing, and debugging
- Familiarity with Altium or equivalent
- Proficiency with oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads, and multimeters
Responsibilities
- Contribute to aircraft motor-drive, power-electronics, and controls design
- Design high-voltage power-electronics circuits
- Integrate power electronics with motors and controls
- Perform circuit verification and dyno testing
- Perform schematic capture, modeling, simulation, analysis, and testing
- Collaborate with software, mechanical, embedded, CAD, production, and user functions
- Execute qualification and reliability campaigns
- Debug and root-cause failures
- Develop automated production-test solutions
