About the Role
You will lead the design, validation, and deployment of advanced test systems for critical UAV hardware. You will architect PCBs and test interfaces, automate test sequences in Python, integrate fixtures, conduct environmental testing, lead design reviews, and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related STEM field
- 3+ years of industry experience in hardware design and test engineering or equivalent advanced-degree experience
- Expertise in electrical, mechanical, and software engineering principles for hardware test systems
- Ability to design, implement, and validate multidisciplinary hardware systems
- Experience driving projects from concept through execution
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, validation, and deployment of test systems for critical UAV components and subsystems
- Architect PCBs and test interfaces for power electronics, RF, and communication systems
- Develop scalable and repeatable automated Python test sequences
- Design and integrate test fixtures using relays, PLCs, PCBAs, and harnessing
- Lead cross-functional design reviews and advocate for design-for-testability improvements
- Conduct HASS, ESS, and HALT testing
- Mentor junior engineers
