About the Role
You will own infrastructure and security projects from scope through production delivery. You will manage AWS services including ECS and Lambda, write Terraform, maintain CI/CD pipelines, improve observability, strengthen security controls, and resolve operational issues. You will use coding agents in production, build safe agent tooling and participate in a remunerated on-call rotation one week in every six.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience building and running secure highly available web applications and integration services in AWS
- Hands-on experience with containerised services in AWS ECS
- Solid knowledge of Terraform
- Knowledge of AWS networking fundamentals
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or similar
- Scripting experience in Python TypeScript or Bash
- Experience with observability and monitoring platforms
- Comfort working in Linux environments
- Production experience using coding agents such as Claude Code Cursor or Codex
- AWS certifications such as DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect are highly regarded
