About the Role
Collaborate with security experts to design advanced device security technologies, assess and harden hardware, firmware, and software layers, implement protection mechanisms, secure boot and remote attestation systems, improve platform software architecture, develop secure manufacturing and provisioning processes, and create technical specifications and test plans.
Requirements
- 5 to 10+ years of experience designing and delivering security-critical systems for internet-connected embedded devices
- In-depth knowledge of hardware security and peripheral or firmware security
- Experience with Linux, Android, or iOS security
- Experience with TPM-based remote attestation
- Proficiency with TEE, secure manufacturing processes, transparency systems, HSMs, cryptography, or virtualization
- Proven experience creating technical specifications, system architectures, implementation guides, and test plans
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and leadership abilities
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced collaborative environments
Responsibilities
- Conduct deep security assessments of hardware, firmware, and software
- Harden devices across hardware, firmware, and software layers
- Design and implement hardware protection mechanisms
- Develop and improve secure boot mechanisms and decommissioning processes
- Design and implement remote attestation and TPM-based solutions
- Redesign platform software architecture with a security-first perspective
- Develop secure manufacturing and provisioning processes
- Create and present technical specifications and test plans
