About the Role

You will collaborate with industry-leading security experts to design and develop advanced security technologies for devices. You will perform deep security assessments and harden hardware, firmware, and software layers. You will design and implement hardware protection mechanisms, secure boot solutions, and remote attestation systems. You will redesign platform software with a security-first perspective, develop secure manufacturing and provisioning processes, and produce technical specifications and test plans. You will present findings and drive security initiatives from design through implementation and verification.

Requirements

  • 5 to 10+ years of experience designing and delivering security-critical systems for internet-connected embedded devices
  • In-depth knowledge of hardware security and peripheral or firmware security
  • Experience with Linux, Android, or iOS security
  • Experience with TPM-based remote attestation
  • Proficiency with TEE, secure manufacturing processes, transparency systems, HSMs, cryptography, or virtualization
  • Proven experience creating technical specifications, system architectures, implementation guides, and test plans
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and leadership abilities
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced collaborative environments

Responsibilities

  • Conduct deep security assessments of hardware, firmware, and software
  • Harden devices across hardware, firmware, and software layers
  • Design and implement hardware protection mechanisms
  • Develop and improve secure boot mechanisms and decommissioning processes
  • Design and implement remote attestation and TPM-based solutions
  • Redesign platform software architecture with a security-first perspective
  • Develop secure manufacturing and provisioning processes
  • Create and present technical specifications and test plans
