About the Role
You will build and troubleshoot software and hardware projects, turn them into technical content and experiences, teach and speak at developer events, grow developer-community engagement, experiment with emerging tools, and bring developer feedback into product and engineering decisions.
Requirements
- Experience building, shipping, and maintaining production software
- Experience with Python, Go, C++, or TypeScript
- Technical judgment to scope, build, debug, and iterate on software projects
- Experience creating technical content for developers
- Hands-on experience with hardware, IoT, embedded systems, electronics, maker projects, or similar physical systems
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts
- Understanding of developer technology discovery, evaluation, and adoption
- Public speaking, teaching, video, and developer-community engagement experience
- Ability to travel and attend occasional evening or weekend events
Responsibilities
- Build creative robotics projects
- Create tutorials, videos, sample code, workshops, demos, and talks
- Represent the platform at conferences, meetups, hackathons, and developer events
- Grow engagement in Discord and other developer communities
- Experiment with emerging technologies and developer tools
- Build, assemble, test, and troubleshoot project software and hardware
- Bring developer feedback to product and engineering
- Use engagement and platform activation to identify priorities
