About the Role
You will lead post-silicon debug and validation across silicon and platform technologies. You will investigate hardware, firmware, software, and system failures; develop debug methods and automated infrastructure; analyze diagnostic data; improve validation coverage; and communicate risks, status, and recommendations.
Requirements
- Bare-metal environment experience
- Knowledge of SoC and platform architectures
- Post-silicon debug and validation expertise
- Python, C, or CMM programming skills
- Digital ASIC post-silicon validation experience
- Linux and Python experience
- Scan, DFT, JTAG, and trace infrastructure knowledge
- Fault tree analysis, failure isolation, fishbone methodology, and system-level debug skills
- Communication, analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Lead post-silicon debug and validation activities
- Plan and execute debug and validation work across projects
- Investigate and resolve silicon, firmware, software, and system-level issues
- Develop debug methodologies and failure-analysis processes
- Drive debug of CPU, memory, interconnect, and high-speed I/O subsystems
- Develop automated debug, regression, and validation infrastructure
- Analyze logs, traces, telemetry, and hardware data
- Develop validation tests, debug tooling, and diagnostics
- Define validation metrics, debug workflows, and reporting standards
- Communicate technical risks, status, and recommendations
- Support silicon readiness reviews and release decisions
