About the Role
You will execute bring-up, validation, characterization, and debug activities for DDR and HBM memory subsystems. You will develop tests and Python automation, analyze validation data, perform laboratory measurements, investigate failures, and document findings to support silicon qualification and production readiness.
Requirements
- Experience validating DDR, LPDDR, HBM, or related DRAM technologies
- Knowledge of DRAM architecture, memory subsystems, and memory controllers
- Firmware, BIOS, and Embedded C development experience
- C and Python programming skills
- Experience with oscilloscopes and laboratory instrumentation
- GPIO, SPI, I2C, and UART or serial interface experience
- Embedded systems and microcontroller platform knowledge
- Board bring-up and hardware validation experience
- Silicon characterization and complex issue debugging experience
- Analytical, diagnostic, communication, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Execute DDR and HBM memory subsystem validation and bring-up
- Verify memory bring-up software, firmware, and scripts
- Debug firmware, hardware, and system-level issues
- Analyze logs, validation data, and characterization results
- Perform PHY characterization and stress testing
- Develop and execute functional, stress, performance, and corner-case tests
- Perform signal integrity, voltage, frequency, and timing measurements
- Characterize memory bandwidth, latency, training behavior, and stability
- Develop Python automation, test infrastructure, and reporting tools
- Support validation methodologies, debug procedures, and production readiness
- Document validation results and communicate findings
