About the Role
You will be embedded within a risk category and own attribution algorithms that drive direct customer outcomes from detection to disruption. You will translate domain knowledge into production grade intelligence and work as both a Subject Matter Expert and data scientist. You will collaborate with SMEs and engineers to uncover patterns across Network On-chain and Protocol layers. You will ship production quality code including heuristics ML models and data pipelines with rigorous evaluation. You will measure impact in terms of illicit funds traced or prevented.
Requirements
- Quantitative background in computer science statistics engineering economics or physics
- Strong problem solving mindset capable of root cause analysis and hypothesis driven iterative approach
- Demonstrated domain curiosity about blockchain fraud money laundering or cybercrime
- 6+ years in an analytical role with strong SQL Python and AI assisted coding tools such as Cursor Claude Code
- Experience with distributed data systems Spark BigQuery Airflow and shipping production code
- Strong async communication using Loom Slack Notion and ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Bonus experience in deep ML crypto financial crime or financial institutions

- Collaborate with SMEs and become a Subject Matter Expert for your category translating customer needs into actionable intelligence
