About the Role

You will establish and lead a centralized analytics and data science function. You will build the operating model and team, certify data marts and metrics, lead executive reporting, set analytical standards, and deliver forecasting, experimentation, and decision support.

Requirements

15 or more years in analytics or data science
5 or more years leading teams that include data scientists, analysts, and analytics engineers
Fluency with SQL and Python
Experience with data modeling and dbt or an equivalent tool
Experience with forecasting, experimental design, statistical inference, and production models
Experience with a modern data stack, including BigQuery, dbt, Airflow, or equivalents
Experience certifying metrics, testing business rules, and resolving entities across systems
Knowledge of P&L mechanics, unit economics, capital projects, and returns analysis
Ability to communicate analytical methods and conclusions to executives

Responsibilities

Design the analytics staffing and operating model
Recruit, develop, and retain analysts and data scientists
Set standards for statistical modeling, experimentation, forecasting, and uncertainty communication
Build the data science capability and prioritize investments
Own certified data marts, metric definitions, and business-rule testing
Establish peer review for analytical work
Own executive, board, and cross-business reporting
Deliver analysis and recommendations for high-stakes decisions
Enable self-service analytics through certified marts and definitions
Keep analysts embedded with business domains
Partner with the Data team on data foundations and models
