About Venice AI
Venice AI provides access to a wide range of leading third-party and open-source AI models for text generation, image generation, video generation, and audio/music generation, all built around a tiered privacy architecture that includes anonymized access, zero data retention, trusted execution environment (TEE) hardware enclaves, and end-to-end client-side encryption. The platform offers tiered subscription plans (Pro, Pro+, Max) with escalating model access, credits, and API limits, as well as a developer-facing OpenAI-compatible API supporting text, image, video, music, speech, embeddings, and web tools through a single key with zero data retention. Venice also has an associated token (VVV) and mentions DIEM, suggesting a crypto/token component to its ecosystem. Its clients range from everyday consumers seeking private AI chat and content generation to developers and agent builders integrating Venice into stacks like LangChain, Vercel AI, CrewAI, and Claude Code.

About the Role
You will own data end to end, deciding where it lives, how it flows, and how it is queried. Build data infrastructure, models, dashboards, reporting pipelines, and self-service tools that provide reliable insights. Consolidate financial, product, and growth data, support experiment tracking, and use statistical methods suited to limited samples. Partner with stakeholders to define metrics, instrument products thoughtfully, evaluate uncertainty, and recommend decisions with clear caveats. Protect user privacy by finding analytical approaches that avoid invasive tracking, and use AI agents to accelerate analysis and automate repetitive work.
Requirements
- 7+ years of demonstrated experience
- Experience working with messy incomplete or deliberately constrained data
- Experience with quasi-experiments proxy metrics qualitative triangulation and decision frameworks
- Fluency in SQL
- Ability to write production-quality code
- Experience building data pipelines models and tooling
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and modern analytics stacks
- Experience with PostHog for product analytics
- Experience with Postgres for data storage and querying
- Familiarity with Rust TypeScript Go or Python
- Ability to communicate analytical uncertainty clearly to executives
- Understanding of privacy-focused data collection and data ethics
Responsibilities
- Own data sourcing storage access and querying end to end
- Build data infrastructure tooling dashboards models and reporting pipelines
- Consolidate financial product and growth data into shared systems
- Support experiment tracking and monitoring systems
- Answer strategic business and product questions with rigorous analysis
- Identify analytical gaps and create self-service tools for decision-makers
- Partner with engineering to instrument products thoughtfully
- Work with finance on business metrics and marketing on growth attribution
- Define robust metrics that separate trends from noise
- Protect user privacy by avoiding unnecessary data collection
