About the Role
Build and maintain a self-service data platform that enables teams to ship data products quickly. Evolve the platform for real-time analytics, batch processing, and machine learning while maintaining secure, scalable, compliant infrastructure through infrastructure as code and automation. Enable data ingestion, processing, and consumption at scale, and mentor teammates to drive engineering excellence.
Requirements
- Experience with one or more programming languages, primarily Python, Go, or Kotlin.
- Strong understanding of data engineering principles, including distributed data processing, stream processing, and data storage systems.
- Fluency with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes in a cloud-first environment.
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to take ownership and communicate directly with stakeholders.
- High sense of ownership and accountability, with willingness to take initiative and advocate for the long-term health of the data ecosystem.
