About the Role
You will install, configure, and maintain data-center hardware in a 24/7 environment. You will monitor environmental conditions, support build-outs and upgrades, coordinate with infrastructure teams, participate in on-call work, and mentor junior technicians.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 3–5+ years of progressive data-center or IT-infrastructure experience
- Hands-on experience with enterprise GPU servers
- Ability to operate independently
- Ability to work on-site full-time in shift rotation
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, storage systems, networking equipment, and data-center hardware
- Monitor temperature, humidity, and power and respond to alerts
- Ensure infrastructure uptime and availability in a 24/7 environment
- Lead or contribute to build-outs, migrations, refresh projects, and data-hall openings
- Plan machine installations and future site upgrades
- Collaborate with remote-hands teams, network engineers, system administrators, and infrastructure leaders
- Mentor junior technicians and support hiring and team building
