About the Role

You will lead the on-site execution of SAP security requirements, develop security policies and procedures, oversee classified systems and controlled areas, conduct inspections and investigations, manage security training, support facility security work, and maintain compliance with government regulations.

Requirements

  • BS degree and 8 years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience
  • Active current in-scope US Top Secret or DOE Q security clearance
  • Willingness to obtain SCI clearance
  • Maintain clearance eligibility and undergo a polygraph examination as required
  • Live within one hour commuting distance to respond to after-hours alarms and emergency conditions
  • Pass a pre-placement drug test and participate in ongoing random drug testing

Responsibilities

  • Create and oversee security protocols, policies, and procedures for special programs
  • Develop standard operating procedures and recurring security education and training
  • Plan and approve construction or modification of work areas under physical security specifications
  • Provide security requirements and estimates for proposals
  • Participate in SAP and SCI security working groups
  • Perform courier duties locally and within the United States as needed
  • Conduct administrative inquiries and prepare investigative reports
  • Implement inspection, audit, and analysis methods for security functions
  • Identify solutions for emerging security requirements
  • Maintain and communicate knowledge of security policy changes
  • Collaborate on security education, training, awareness, and special briefings
  • Lead, manage, or supervise team members when assigned
  • Conduct HR-related supervisory activities including training, performance evaluations, and hiring
