About the Role
You will review and resolve surveillance alerts, conduct trade and order-data analysis, investigate escalated behaviour, and document findings for senior compliance stakeholders. You will assess referrals, draft suspicious transaction, order, and activity reports, produce regulatory information, and help improve surveillance tooling and detection coverage.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in trade surveillance, market abuse investigation, or trading conduct at a regulated firm
- Knowledge of market abuse typologies including spoofing, layering, wash trading, insider dealing, front running, and ramping
- Experience reviewing and dispositioning surveillance alerts and documenting findings
- Evidence-based written communication
- Experience using generative AI and automation tools for investigative work with appropriate oversight
- Based in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Cyprus, Malta, Romania, or Canada
- Fluency in English
Responsibilities
- Review and disposition surveillance alerts across regulated markets
- Conduct analytical reviews using trade and order data
- Investigate escalated behaviour and present findings to senior compliance stakeholders
- Assess internal and external referrals
- Draft suspicious transaction and order reports and suspicious activity reports
- Produce management information and regulatory reporting
- Support surveillance platform, tooling, product, and data-source integration work
- Use AI and automation tools for evidence gathering and case reconstruction
