About the Role
You will own customer due diligence from onboarding through periodic and event-driven reviews. You will conduct CIP and CDD for individuals and legal entities, assign risk ratings, manage enhanced due diligence cases, and prepare cases for committee review. You will improve review-agent prompts and partner with Engineering and Product to automate compliant onboarding flows.
Requirements
- 2–6 years of experience
- Experience at a top-tier consultancy, high-bar startup, or as Chief of Staff to a founder preferred
- Demonstrated accelerated promotion or expanded scope
- Experience building automations, tools, or workflows using SQL, scripting, or AI tools
- Degree from a top-tier university
- Based in New York City and able to work onsite
Responsibilities
- Own customer due diligence from onboarding through periodic and event-driven reviews
- Conduct CIP and CDD for individuals and legal entities
- Review documents and beneficial ownership certifications
- Assign customer risk ratings
- Conduct enhanced due diligence for high-risk customers, complex ownership structures, and FBO relationships
- Prepare high-risk cases for the High-Risk Customer Review Committee
- Improve prompts for review agents based on case findings
- Partner with Engineering and Product to automate compliant onboarding workflows
- Handle complex cases, event-driven reviews, and exceptions
