About the Role
You will conduct first-line KYC and sanctions reviews, investigate complex and escalated cases, resolve identity mismatches, and document decisions. You will complete higher-risk customer reviews, perform quality checks, identify trends, update procedures, and support banking partner and regulator requests.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in KYC/AML, CIP/CDD, sanctions screening, or fraud operations at a fintech or bank
- Working knowledge of CIP, OFAC, CDD, and EDD requirements
- Written documentation skills
- CAMS certification
- Eligible to obtain required U.S. export authorizations or meet stated ITAR status requirements
Responsibilities
- Perform first-line KYC and sanctions reviews
- Investigate escalated or complex cases
- Resolve identity mismatches
- Review and disposition OFAC sanctions and PEP alerts
- Complete EDD and adverse-media reviews for higher-risk customers
- Complete KYB and UBO checks for business customers
- Document decisions in case records
- Perform quality reviews and flag trends to the KYC Program Manager
- Support KYC and sanctions procedure updates
- Support requests from banking partners and regulators
