About the Role
You will architect, build, and operate security systems for cloud-native and on-premises environments. You will strengthen developer and supply-chain security, manage identity and secrets systems, implement infrastructure controls, and create secure frameworks that help engineers prevent vulnerabilities.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of software engineering experience with deep security expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
- Programming skills in Python, Go, Rust, or C/C++
- Understanding of identity systems, cryptographic primitives, and secrets management
- Knowledge of Kubernetes security primitives including RBAC, namespaces, network policies, and service accounts
- Experience leading cross-functional security initiatives
- Communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain complex security systems
- Identify risks through threat modeling and risk assessment
- Build controls and infrastructure that address identified risks
- Provide security design-pattern guidance to other teams
- Embed security practices in development workflows
- Harden CI/CD pipelines against supply-chain attacks
- Architect systems that protect sensitive assets
- Build and operate credential issuance, rotation, and workload authentication
- Implement cloud security controls including IAM, network segmentation, VPC architecture, and encryption
- Contribute to Kubernetes cluster security controls
- Advance cloud security posture management
- Build cryptographic, mTLS, serialization, and authorization frameworks
- Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate security frameworks
