About the Role
Architect and implement highly available, low-latency cloud infrastructure, modernize services in containerized environments, integrate backend systems with Robinhood infrastructure, automate operations, own complex projects, influence technical processes, and support platform reliability through on-call rotation.
Requirements
- 4–5+ years of relevant cloud engineering experience
- Strong background in Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience modernizing legacy architectures
- Advanced knowledge of backend disciplines
- Practical experience with AWS ECS, EC2, Aurora, and DynamoDB
- Experience managing entire projects or processes
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to guide and coach other employees
- Practical knowledge of project management
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation
