About the Role

You will own client money movements across ACH, domestic and international wires, RTP, checks, and internal journals. You will validate and release transactions, reconcile cash activity, resolve exceptions, maintain case records, manage custodian and banking-partner relationships, identify risks, support audits, improve processes, and train internal colleagues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in financial services, brokerage operations, banking, or cashiering
• Experience processing ACH, wires, checks, journals, and preferably RTP transactions
• Experience working with custodians, clearing firms, or correspondent banks
• Knowledge of operational risk and fraud controls
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and escalate issues

Responsibilities

• Strengthen controls across money-movement workflows
• Review, validate, and approve client money-movement requests
• Process and release transactions within established SLAs
• Reconcile daily cash movements, deposits, and settlement activity
• Monitor and resolve exceptions, returns, rejects, and transaction discrepancies
• Serve as an operational contact for custodians and banking partners
• Prepare daily and monthly operational reports
• Maintain documentation and case tracking in Salesforce and internal systems
• Identify and escalate suspicious or high-risk transactions
• Support audits, reporting requirements, and special projects
• Implement process improvements with Operations, Compliance, Risk, and Technology
• Train internal teams and contribute to playbooks, SOPs, and onboarding
