About the Role
You will improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of CI/CD systems. You will reduce build and test latency, optimize distributed build systems and caching, automate workflows, improve observability, and remove operational bottlenecks for engineering teams.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional experience at Senior level or 10+ years at Staff level in Build Engineering, Developer Productivity, DevOps, Infrastructure Engineering, or Platform Engineering
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
- Programming experience in Python, Go, Bash, or similar automation languages
- Experience building and optimizing CI/CD systems with GitHub Actions, Buildkite, Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Bazel, Buck2, CMake, or similar technologies
- Experience supporting Linux development environments and large-scale engineering workflows
Responsibilities
- Reduce build, test, and deployment times across the engineering organization
- Design scalable automation that improves developer productivity and release reliability
- Optimize distributed build systems, caching, test execution, and resource utilization
- Streamline development workflows and reduce operational bottlenecks
- Establish tooling and observability for CI/CD health, pipeline performance, and developer experience
