About the Role
You will design and improve high-volume transaction broadcasting pipelines, manage transaction lifecycles, recover stuck transactions, and contribute to wallet infrastructure and automation. You will build cross-chain and DeFi integrations, design recovery strategies for partial failures, develop reliable off-chain services, and improve system reliability, monitoring, and resilience.
Requirements
- Strong backend and platform engineering fundamentals
- Experience operating production systems with real uptime requirements
- Production experience interacting with live blockchain networks
- Understanding of transaction lifecycle and failure recovery in at least one blockchain
- Experience with wallet infrastructure or custody systems
- Awareness of MEV, slippage, pricing impact, and swap execution risks
- Experience with high-throughput or financial systems
- Familiarity with UTXO-based chains, coin selection, and fee bumping strategies
- Experience designing cross-chain or multi-step transaction orchestration systems
- Familiarity with blockchain indexing or event ingestion pipelines
- Understanding of ERC-20 and SPL token standards
- Experience interacting with smart contracts from backend services
Responsibilities
- Design and improve high-volume transaction broadcasting pipelines
- Manage transaction lifecycles
- Detect, retry, rebroadcast, and recover stuck transactions
- Contribute to wallet infrastructure and automation systems
- Implement safe parallel transaction handling
- Improve monitoring, observability, and operational guardrails
- Design cross-chain and multi-step transaction flows
- Design state machines and recovery strategies for partial failures
- Build reliable off-chain services that interact with on-chain contracts
- Develop and maintain tested, high-quality, performant code
- Participate in incident response and post-mortems
- Improve reliability, alerting, and system resilience
