About the Role

You will own backend systems across StartaleApp and other products, designing APIs and services, building scalable data pipelines, managing databases, integrating blockchain infrastructure, and operating reliable production systems. You will work across Web2 and Web3 infrastructure and solve complex scalability, performance, and reliability challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Own backend architecture and implementation across multiple products
  • Design and maintain scalable production APIs and backend services
  • Build and operate high-performance distributed systems
  • Build data pipelines, background workers, asynchronous processing systems, and event-driven architectures
  • Build blockchain integrations and indexing systems
  • Design database schemas and optimize queries
  • Diagnose production issues and performance bottlenecks
  • Improve observability, monitoring, alerting, deployment pipelines, and system reliability
