About the Role

You will design and build scalable backend services that integrate AI agents with contact-center platforms. You will manage real-time conversation state, build secure API integrations, enable AI-to-human handoffs, and improve reliability, performance, observability, and security.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of experience building scalable backend systems in production environments
• Experience designing and maintaining REST and gRPC APIs
• Understanding of distributed systems and real-time communication architectures
• Experience integrating third-party enterprise platforms and APIs
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Understanding of reliability, observability, and security in enterprise environments

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable backend services that integrate AI agents with customer CCaaS platforms
• Architect systems for real-time conversation state, context propagation, and session lifecycle
• Implement AI-to-human handoff mechanisms with complete context transfer
• Develop secure and reliable integrations with CCaaS APIs
• Collaborate with ML engineers and AI researchers to operationalize AI agent capabilities
• Ensure high availability, low latency, and observability for real-time conversation systems
• Implement authentication, authorization, compliance, and enterprise security practices
• Improve reliability, performance, and scalability for high-volume production systems
