About the Role
You will build and scale core exchange infrastructure, designing and implementing scalable, low-latency backend services using C/C++ or other performance-oriented systems languages. You will profile, tune, and debug production systems with a focus on latency, throughput, memory usage, and correctness. You will design and operate distributed APIs, data pipelines, and event-driven systems using messaging and streaming platforms. You will own reliability, availability, security, and participate in diagnosing and resolving production incidents. You will collaborate with engineers across product, infrastructure, and data and contribute to code reviews and architectural decisions to maintain high engineering standards.
Requirements
- 4–7+ years of professional backend development experience
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ or another systems language (Go Rust Java)
- Solid understanding of algorithms data structures concurrency and memory management
- Experience building low-latency high-throughput systems
- Ability to debug production issues on Linux and ensure correctness and performance
- (Plus) Experience in trading systems HFT gaming telecom or other latency-sensitive domains
- (Plus) Production experience with Kafka Pulsar or similar streaming platforms
- (Plus) Familiarity with gRPC Protobuf ZeroMQ or similar technologies
- (Plus) Experience deploying systems in cloud environments (AWS GCP) and using containers
