About the Role
Build and scale core exchange infrastructure through scalable, low-latency backend services, distributed APIs, data pipelines, and event-driven systems. Profile and debug production systems while owning reliability, availability, security, performance, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- 4–7+ years of professional backend development experience.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ or another systems language such as Go, Rust, or Java.
- Understanding of algorithms, data structures, concurrency, and memory management.
- Experience building low-latency, high-throughput systems.
- Ability to debug production issues on Linux and ensure correctness and performance.
- Experience in trading systems, HFT, gaming, telecom, or other latency-sensitive domains is a plus.
- Production experience with Kafka, Pulsar, or similar streaming platforms is a plus.
- Familiarity with gRPC, Protobuf, ZeroMQ, or similar technologies is a plus.
- Experience deploying systems in AWS or GCP and using containers is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable low-latency backend services.
- Profile, tune, and debug production systems for latency, throughput, memory usage, and correctness.
- Design and operate distributed APIs, data pipelines, and event-driven systems.
- Reinforce reliability, availability, security, performance, and scalability.
- Diagnose and resolve production issues.
- Collaborate with engineers across product, infrastructure, and data.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architectural decisions.
