About the Role
You will help design, build, and operate infrastructure and backend services for search. You will create internal automation, support AWS deployments and monitoring, improve CI/CD and testing, debug Linux-based systems, and contribute Rust, Go, or C++ code during an in-person Belgrade internship.
Requirements
- Computer science, engineering, or related education or equivalent practical experience
- Familiarity with Go, Rust, or C/C++
- Interest in infrastructure, distributed systems, or backend engineering
- English proficiency
- Enrollment at a Serbian university or self-taught software engineering experience
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain infrastructure for high-performance search systems
- Design internal tools and automation for developer workflows and operations
- Support the design, deployment, and monitoring of cloud-native AWS systems
- Improve CI/CD pipelines, testing infrastructure, and release processes
- Debug and optimize Linux-based services, containers, and backend systems
- Contribute to product codebases using Rust, Go, or C++
